Operational information as of 18.00 22.03.2022 on the Russian invasion.
The twenty-seventh day of the heroic opposition of the Ukrainian people to the Russian military invasion is underway.Without succeeding, the enemy continues to launch airborne missile and bomb strikes against military and civilian infrastructure in the Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Donetsk regions. The enemy carried out more than 80 aircraft, including 29 from Baranovichi and Bobruisk airfields located in the Republic of Belarus.
Bomber, attack and fighter aircraft were involved in strikes against targets. The enemy used five reconnaissance aircraft to conduct aerial reconnaissance of targets in Ukraine.
In the Black Sea and Azov Sea operational zones, ships of the Russian Federation Navy perform tasks in certain areas of the Black Sea. In the north-eastern part of the Sea of Azov up to five ships of different types continue to be deployed to support the actions of the land group of occupation troops.
Despite active propaganda, the personnel of certain units of the Central Military District are demoralized due to significant losses.
Cases of mass refusal of soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to participate in the war against Ukraine continue to be recorded. According to available information, about 220 servicemen in the 155th Independent Marines Brigade have refused to participate in the armed aggression against Ukraine since the beginning of the war. In total, since February 24 this year, about 50 servicemen of this unit were killed and about 110 wounded. There is also a great resonance in Russian society over the deaths of high-ranking and senior officers in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The enemy, as noted earlier, has significant problems with the logistics of groups of occupation troops in almost all directions. In addition, the occupation troops continue to suffer significant losses due to an improperly organized medical support system. Thus, due to untimely provision of medical assistance, lack of system of medical evacuation of the wounded and shortage of medicines, the units of the 7th Airborne Assault Division of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation suffered heavy losses.
Ukrainian defenders and defenders continue to hold back the enemy, showing examples of courage and heroism and destroying it on all fronts.
