Operational information as of 18.00 19.03.2022 on the Russian invasion.

The twenty-fourth day of the heroic opposition of the Ukrainian people to the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation is underway. The operational situation has not undergone significant changes. The defenders of Ukraine reliably hold the lines of defense, concentrating the main efforts around the strategically important cities - Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Mariupol, Mykolaiv and forcing the enemy to abandon the continuation of the offensive.

It was thanks to the professional and heroic actions of the defense forces and strong national resistance that the enemy failed to meet the objectives set by the Kremlin leadership: encirclement of Kyiv, reaching the administrative borders of Donetsk and Lugansk regions and establishing control over the left-bank part of Ukraine. Even hostile intelligence concluded that due to the strong resistance of Ukrainians, it was impossible to establish pro-Russian authorities in the territories temporarily under occupier control.

The enemy does not stop rocket and bomb attacks on military and civilian infrastructure using precision-guided weapons, unguided aerial bombs, and high explosive munitions.

In violation of international law and human morality, Russian invaders attack densely populated Ukrainian towns and villages, critical and industrial infrastructure, schools, hospitals, and government institutions.

Russian troops continue to suffer significant losses. In temporarily occupied Crimea, individual Marine units have lost up to 90 percent of their personnel, and there are no reserves to recover the losses.

There are attempts to man the companies to be sent to Ukraine with detachments from other military units. In these units, more than 20 men have written reports on their refusal to participate in the war against Ukraine, and repressive methods of influence are being applied to the "responders.

In recent days, in the Nikolaev direction, enemy units that were manned through mobilization in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region (recall: forced mobilization in the occupied territories is a direct violation of the Rome Statute and the Geneva Conventions) have also suffered significant losses. In two days of fighting, the enemy suffered more than 200 irrecoverable losses, while the rest were demoralized and refused to participate in combat operations. The mobilized men accuse the Russian command of using them for "combat reconnaissance" to identify Ukrainian Armed Forces positions.

Refrigerated trucks with cargo "200" arrive at the Luhansk Regional Hospital every day. These are the bodies of soldiers of the 2nd Army Corps with significant losses. Lines of relatives of the dead are lined up outside the district executive committees.

Not succeeding in open combat, the occupiers continue terrorizing the local population. With the help of propaganda plots the enemy is trying to form a picture of loyalty of the local population to the occupation authorities. Russian invaders tried to distribute "humanitarian aid" in Chernihiv Oblast settlements. Local residents, even under pressure, did not take anything from the hands of the enemy. The enemy is also trying to conduct similar activities in Kyiv and Kherson oblasts.
