The Russian occupants put white armbands on the residents of Mariupol to make the Ukrainian defenders confuse them with the Russians. The Azov regiment in Mariupol informs about it.
According to the testimonies of local residents, as indicated, the Russians are misleading civilians by tying them white armbands - allegedly as a civilian identification sign.
"Emphasis added!!! With white armbands the Russians are defining their Putin's army, thus hiding behind civilians and putting them in additional danger. Be careful and do not succumb to the provocations of the enemy," the regiment noted.
There is also indirect confirmation of this on Russian information channels. Thus, one of them tells the story of a boy who came out of the basement to talk to the occupants who had occupied the suburb where the boy was hiding. They advised him to wear a white armband on his sleeve.
