The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine told about the losses inflicted on the Russian occupants in the past 24 hours and the situation on the fronts at the beginning of the 24-day war.
This was reported by the General Staff of the AFU on March 19.
So, during the day AFU fighters destroyed several columns of occupants' equipment in the Nikolaev and Sumy regions, and now the losses of the enemy are being specified.
"In addition, the commander of the 8th All-Arms Army of the Southern Military District of the armed forces of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Andrei Mordvichev, was destroyed as a result of a fire attack on the enemy," the General Staff informed.
Our anti-aircraft missile forces and fighter aviation shot down 12 enemy air targets (two aircraft, three helicopters, three UAVs and four cruise missiles).
It is noted that in the last 24 hours there were no significant changes in the position and nature of actions of the defense forces. Thus, the Ukrainian defenders continued strikes on the groups of enemy troops who were trying to hold the seized lines.
It is reported that the occupiers continue to suffer significant losses, and there are problems with the logistical support of the units.
"The low level of moral and psychological state of the personnel leads to an increase in the number of cases of desertion and refusal of the Russian Armed Forces to participate in the war against Ukraine," the report says.
It is also noted that dead and wounded Russian soldiers and soldiers from the "Rosgvardia" continue to be delivered from the territory of our country.
"Thus, in the city of Gomel for the reception and treatment of wounded occupants involved all medical institutions that have surgical departments. Surgeons work around the clock, all planned operations of Belarusian citizens are either cancelled or postponed indefinitely. A large percentage of mortality among the seriously injured Russian invaders is recorded," the report says.
As reported, according to the Pentagon, Russia has fired more than 1,080 missiles into Ukraine since the start of the full-scale invasion.
