President Volodymyr Zelensky is ready for a meeting with President of the occupying country Vladimir Putin "at least tomorrow," reports Ukrainska Pravda.

This was stated by Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba.

"President Zelensky is ready for this meeting. His position is clear, it is formulated on all issues, and Ukraine is ready for this conversation," he said.

The minister also explained in detail that at the meetings of the delegations of Ukraine and Russia, which are now taking place, there are a number of issues that the negotiators cannot solve on their own.

"They can sit for another 25 hours a day, look at each other, say something, but they simply do not have the mandate to solve all the issues. That's why a different logic would be useful right now. That is, they have met, agreed on the key parameters, the negotiators have sat down and polished everything," said Kuleba.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs also predicted two options for ending the war. In his opinion, a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia is a more realistic ending.

About this Dmitry Kuleba told in an interview to the publication UP.

"There is no need to make any drama, but we should all remember that any war has two endings. The first ending is an unconditional total defeat of one of the parties. This is what the Russians wanted to impose on us from the beginning by putting forward such a document. The second final is a deal. The agreement is a search and fixation of mutually acceptable solutions," said Kuleba.

However, the minister noted that there is no need to reject the first option, because a peace agreement should be beneficial for Ukraine.

"Therefore, from the point of view of Ukraine, not from the point of view of Russia, we must clearly and soberly understand that either we must set ourselves up for a war to the end, as a result of which we total unconditionally and unconditionally defeat Russia, or there must be an agreement, which must be on favorable conditions for Ukraine. I think that the second option is still realistic," he added.

Also, Dmytro Kuleba said that there were still countries that were trying to "jump out" of the history of Ukraine's accession to the EU. Of these, in particular, Germany.

"Now the next step is that we work out one document through the European Commission, it is called a questionnaire, we answer all the questions, on the basis of which they make recommendations to the European Council. And then the European Council takes an official decision," said Kuleba.

The Minister specified that this stage could take a little more than two weeks.

"You and I will reach this level before our eyes will blink. But then there will be a moment of truth. That's when the European Council, namely the leaders of all the European countries, must already make the final decision to open accession negotiations. And I will tell you frankly, there are still countries that will try to bail on this story. Among them is Germany, let's call a spade a spade, it's no secret. That's why we are now extremely focused and concentrated on these very countries," Kuleba noted.
