Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the Russian military thought they would enter the Ukraine they had seen eight years ago. However, the occupiers did not expect such a repulse, including thanks to military support.
"I am grateful to U.S. President Joe Biden for new and effective help for our nation. Understand, I cannot reveal all the details of this package, because this is our tactic: when the enemy does not know what to expect from us. Neither did he know what to expect after February 24. Didn't know what we had. The occupiers thought they were going into Ukraine, which they saw in 2014 and 2015. Defense tactics is not the time to reveal," - said Zelensky.
We will remind, earlier it became known that the United States will transfer military equipment to Ukraine. We are talking about thousands of anti-tank systems, 800 air defense systems and millions of ammunition.
