Mykhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, provided an exhaustive list of actions that Russia resorts to on the territory of our state. He wrote about it in his Telegram channel.
"Russian Federation tactics. Viscous positional battles along all front lines. Creating local cauldrons for civilians. Targeted strikes on objects where civilians are hiding. Maximum delay of decisions on humanitarian corridors. Active information attempts to destabilize public opinion in our country. Provoke internal conflicts," writes Podolyak.
According to the adviser to the OP head, Russia has neither a blitzkrieg nor a coherent strategy, so the tactics look "extremely disgusting" - the key strikes are directed exclusively against the civilian population.
"Our AFU Russians are panic-stricken... Hence the new tactical elements of the 'Russian geniuses of military battles,'" Podolyak notes.
According to him, it implies:
Viscous positional battles along all front lines. At the expense of constant quantitative pressure. The more manpower, the better. The mortality of their own soldiers the Russians do not care about...
Creation of local cauldrons for civilians. Targeted bombing or missile strikes on sites where civilians are hiding en masse. The basic task is to shock the population as much as possible, to create a feeling of terror and provoke a large-scale panic...
Maximum delay of decisions on the humanitarian corridors. Constant deception with an attempt to conduct some kind of redeployment and shelling of peaceful evacuation convoys. It is important to understand that Russians commit violence against civilians everywhere with extreme hatred and absolutely no concealment. These are all crimes against humanity. But such demonstrative contempt for the rules of war shows that the military-political leadership of the Russian Federation still lacks adequacy and at least a short planning horizon...
At the same time the Russians are making active information attempts to destabilize public opinion in our country. To provoke internal conflicts. Hence the constant "leaks" to foreign media of various plans and ideas, including Russian "negotiating positions."
"As of today, their basic objective is obvious - by inciting fear (among the civilian population), panic, as well as by a massive false propaganda campaign to provoke an internal management crisis..." - he added.
