According to satellite images, in front and behind the building of the Mariupol Drama Theater two days before the enemy bombing, there were writings in large letters in Russian, "Children," which were visible from above. This was reported by Reuters, citing images by Maxar Technologies.
Thus, a private U.S. company Maxar Technologies released satellite images, which, according to her, were taken on March 14. The image shows that in front of the facade of the theater in Mariupol and behind it there was an inscription on the asphalt - in large letters in white paint "Children".
Most likely, the inscriptions were seen by the occupants' fire spotters and pilots of the aviation.
Recall that Russian occupation troops dropped a heavy-duty bomb on the Mariupol Drama Theater. People were hiding there at the time. It is estimated that we are talking about a thousand Mariupol civilians. Many Mariupol residents were hiding in the theater with young children.
The speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko said that by launching a targeted bombing attack on a place of mass concentration of civilians, the Russian Federation committed another war crime. Ukrainian diplomats will do their best to ensure that every person involved in this and hundreds of other crimes against Ukrainians will be punished, the Foreign Ministry said.
