The bodies of five Azerbaijani citizens killed in the conflict in Ukraine will be brought to Azerbaijan on Tuesday and handed over to their relatives, Leyla Abdullayeva, head of the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, said. Interfax-Azerbaijan writes about it.
"The bodies of Nemat Ismailov (born in 1975), Rahim Ismailov (born in 1966), Azer Alizadeh (born in 1994), Jamal Salmanov (born in 1997), who tried to leave the country on their own will be taken to the relatives. On March 14, the bodies of Azerbaijani citizens shot dead at the Kuchurgan checkpoint on the Moldovan border and those of Goshgar Mamedov (born in 1987), killed in Kharkov, were taken out of Kishinev by special vehicles and then flown from Turkey. The bodies of the Azerbaijani citizens will be taken to Baku by an Istanbul-Baku flight on March 15 and will be passed to their relatives," she said.
The Ukrainian side does not comment on the situation.
