The Verkhovna Rada passed a number of bills necessary for Ukraine to defeat the Russian occupier, said MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak (Golos faction)
"A number of important decisions have been made to defeat the enemy," Zheleznyak wrote on Telegram, reporting that 345 people's deputies from all factions attended Tuesday's plenary session.
According to him, people's deputies passed bill 7168 - on the continuation of the martial law line in Ukraine until April 25, 2022 (in 343 votes).
He also said that the draft law № 7137d - additional tax incentives to support businesses during the war. Including the abolition of taxation of fuel and the introduction of preferential treatment for entrepreneurs (2% of turnover). This document, according to Zheleznyak, will be in force during wartime and state of emergency and includes more than 40 innovations. The bill was supported by 340 MPs.
In addition, the Verkhovna Rada passed bill No. 7151 on the recognition of TRO volunteers as war veterans (for - 344 votes); No. 7140-1 - simplifying the option of exemption from military service for persons with disabilities and persons caring for persons with disabilities and sick children (for - 344); No. 6384-1 - features of budgeting the judicial system (for - 344); No. 7147 - peculiarities of activities and additional powers of the police under martial law (in favour - 343); No. 7145 - establishment of the concept of "combat immunity" - legal protection of military commanders, servicemen, TROs, law enforcement officers (in favour - 344); No. 7149 - possibility to cancel preventive measure or detention for call-up of such person for military service (in favour - 341).
Zheleznyak also said that MPs have increased by 67 billion UAH the expenditures for the army, reallocated the provision of state guarantees within the limit of state guaranteed debt and limited the use of the road fund (bill number 7167, for - 342 votes).
The Rada also liberalized labor legislation under martial law (#7160 for - 344); passed the bill #7148 to improve the effectiveness of criminal proceedings on cybercrime, as well as other criminal offenses related to computer data (for - 343).
At Tuesday's session, deputies also expanded the law "On ensuring the rights and freedoms of citizens and the legal regime in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine" to territories that have been seized by the Russian Federation since the war began on February 24, 2022 (No. 7157, in favor - 341).
Among the adopted documents is draft law № 7038d increasing the rent for gas extraction during martial law and state of emergency (in favor - 270).
Also, deputies passed the bill No. 7133 - state guarantees prohibiting the dismissal of teachers under martial law (for 341); No. 7143 - granting additional powers to the State Judicial Administration of Ukraine in the absence of the Supreme Justice Council (for 343); No. 7154 - termination of execution actions, the recoverers of which are the Russian Federation or persons associated with the aggressor state (for 343); No. 7161 - increasing the total number of State Border Guard Services during a special period of time (for 343).
