More than half of Ukrainians believe that the main goal of Russian President Vladimir Putin is to completely destroy the people of Ukraine. This is evidenced by the results of the survey of the sociological group "Rating", informs UNN.
56% of respondents believe that the main goal of the Russian invasion is the complete destruction of the Ukrainian people. This opinion prevails in all regions of Ukraine.
Another half believe that the purpose of the attack is the occupation of Ukraine and its annexation to Russia.
Only 15-17% think that Russia wants to change the political course of Ukraine or to prevent the placement of NATO bases, 10% - think that the motive is the destruction of military infrastructure, 5% - provoking NATO to war.
Those who believe that the Russian invasion was intended to protect the Russian-speaking population - only 2%.
It should also be noted that more than half of Ukrainians believe that only the Russian authorities are to blame for the war against Ukraine, 38% blame the authorities and the people of the Russian Federation.
