The losses of the Russian invaders in the war are ten times greater than those of the Ukrainian armed forces, President Volodymyr Zelensky said during an interaction with foreign media.
"We have lost somewhere around 1,300 military casualties as of today, while Russia has more than 12,000 - one in ten. I am not happy about this, this is not my vision of the world as a whole," Zelensky said.
He also stressed that Russian information policy has been telling domestic stories about "fascism" in Ukraine, but in fact it is the Russian invaders who are behaving like Nazis.
"Why so many prisoners? Because they came to kill us and then they saw that, first of all, they are weak, that we will not surrender because we are in our own land. And secondly, some of them realized, even though they were 18-20 years old, that they were acting like Nazis. That's how it was in the Nazi times - they loot, they block cities, they don't give people even water," stated the head of the state
