Over the past 24 hours, the enemy has not been able to advance in any area of the front. This was reported by advisor to the head of the Office of the President Alexei Arestovich during a briefing.

"Over the past 24 hours the enemy did not manage to advance at any section of the front, on the contrary, according to preliminary data, which still needs to be clarified, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the city of Chuguev in the Kharkiv region, near which there is an important military airfield," said Arestovich.

According to him, at night the enemy launched missile and air strikes against Ukrainian cities: Kiev, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy region, Mariupol.

"Nevertheless, our Armed Forces are striking back, counterattacking in certain areas," Arestovich said.

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov said that the Russian leadership had planned in advance and deliberately planned a "scorched earth" tactic, a complete disregard for international law.
