In the Zhytomyr region, Korosten, Malin, and Ovruch were destroyed as a result of bombing by Russian occupants on March 6. One dead and four injured are known. This is reported by the police press service.
In Ovruch a residential neighborhood of the city was destroyed. Up to 10 private houses were practically destroyed, one apartment building and one administrative building were damaged. Work continues to remove the rubble from the basement of one of the houses, where people may be. Two injured people received medical treatment, but they were not hospitalized.
In Malyn, the occupants carried out an air strike on the central square of the city. Administrative buildings and the Holy Protection Church were damaged, vehicles were destroyed, windows and doors were damaged and walls were chopped off.
The police received information about one dead man born in 1974 and two injured people who were taken to hospital.
In Korosten, rockets were also fired at the central part of the city. Administrative buildings, windows and walls in houses nearby were damaged.
Police officers are on the ground in all towns. They are helping local residents and documenting the consequences of the aerial bombardment.
All materials will be added to the relevant criminal proceedings initiated for war crimes.
We recall that Russian occupants bombed civilian facilities in Chernihiv all evening and night, resulting in the destruction of several schools and a kindergarten.
