Russian occupation forces continue their offensive operation against Ukraine and, despite losses in personnel and equipment, with air support, have focused on attempting to cordon off the cities of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Mykolaiv and on reaching the administrative borders of Luhansk and Donetsk regions, as well as creating a land corridor with the temporarily occupied Crimea.

"The occupiers focused on active actions in the southern regions, in order to deprive Ukraine of access to the Black and Azov seas. The invaders have exhausted almost all the main reserves and are preparing to send additional units from the eastern, central and western military districts," said a summary from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 12:00 a.m. Sunday.

A grouping of defense forces continues to conduct a defense operation in the Donetsk, Slobozhansky and partially Tavrichesky operational areas. The United Forces grouping is conducting a defensive operation in the Donetsk direction. In the Slobozhansky direction, mechanized units of the AFU defend Kharkiv and Akhtyrka, and the defense of Chernihiv also continues. Kiev's grouping of defense forces and equipment continues to steadily hold certain lines and fight to hold important defense areas in threatening directions.

In other directions, a stabilization operation and territorial defense tasks are being carried out.

The grouping of the AFU air force repels enemy missile and aviation strikes and air attacks, and concentrates its efforts to provide air cover for important (critical) facilities of Ukraine and groups of troops, the report says.
