British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that the reckless actions of Vladimir Putin pose a direct threat to all of Europe. This was reported by the BBC.
The statement was made following an overnight incident at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, where a fire broke out due to Kafir shelling.
The British government called the situation extremely alarming.
"Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Boris Johnson had an urgent telephone conversation and agreed that the main priority now is to force the Russian side to immediately stop the fighting in the nuclear power plant area," the statement said.
Earlier, London initiated the convening of an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council. Now Downing Street says that the situation in Zaporizhzhya NPP will come to the forefront of the agenda.
Recall, as a result of the occupant's shelling, there was a fire at the Zaporizhzhya NPP.
