On the Volyn direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces hold certain lines.
On the territory of the Republic of Belarus, on the other side of the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, the 38th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus is deployed in the wooded area. According to available information, the command of the military unit received an order to cross the border with Ukraine. The communication of the combat order will be carried out after crossing the border. Moral and psychological state of the paratroopers is extremely low. Officers and soldiers do not want to perform the role of Russian mercenaries. A significant number of them were in favor of terminating their contracts, the majority of which expire in May.
In the Seversk region, mechanized and tank units steadily hold their defenses in the occupied lines around Chernigov. In the Sloboda region, mechanized units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are effectively fighting defensive battles against superior enemy forces, with success in some areas. The enemy is suffering heavy losses. The United Forces grouping during heavy defensive battles foiled Russian invaders' plans and prevented the enemy from reaching the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The Ukrainian city of Mariupol remains an example of heroic resistance to Russian invasion.
In the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, units are being formed from reservists drafted in January-February 2022. According to the plans of the Russian handlers, the marching companies will be urgently relocated near Kharkiv. Mobilized men are expressing acute dissatisfaction.On the Primorsk direction, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are conducting a defensive operation in the operational zone and covering part of the sea coast. Part of the forces perform tasks to prevent the enemy's breakthrough from the area of the settlements of Kherson and Mykolaiv.
Defence group of the city of Kiev continues to repulse the enemy's offensive, inflicting firepower and holding the defensive lines around the city and the main airfields. Failing to do so, the enemy resorts to shelling civilian houses from the southwestern outskirts of the Ukrainian capital. At the same time, the invaders are also defiantly acting in the information space, spreading disinformation and Kremlin propaganda materials. Trust only verified information resources. Stay vigilant!
