French President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday, March 3, had an hour and a half conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin about the war in Ukraine. According to an unnamed aide to the French leader, Putin seems intent on taking over all of Ukraine, AFP writes.

"There was nothing in what President Putin told us to reassure us. He showed great determination to extend the operation," the Elysee Palace added.

In addition, the Russian president again justified the invasion of Ukraine with so-called "denazification." At the same time, Macron responded to Putin that his theses were lies.

At the same time, the Russian president noted that Russia intends to complete the task of the so-called "military operation" to the end, and if Ukraine delays negotiations, Moscow will have additional demands. Putin's main condition is the demilitarization of Ukraine and its "neutral" status.
