All lines of defense of Ukraine have been preserved, the enemy has no success in any of the strategic directions. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in a video address on Thursday.
"We are standing so that the occupiers were forced to change their tactics. Russia's missile and bombing strikes on Ukrainian cities is an admission that they have been unable to do anything significant on our soil. All of our defense lines have been preserved, the enemy has no success in any of the strategic directions. They are suppressed, they are doomed," the President said.
According to him, Kiev withstood the night and another missile and bomb attack - the anti-aircraft defense worked. Kherson, Izyum and all the other cities, on which the occupiers hit from the air, hit hard, hit powerfully - gave them nothing.
"Chernigov, Sumy, Nikolaev are holding the defense. Odessa, they want to destroy our Odessa, but they will only see the bottom of the Black Sea, because they are the bottom," stressed the Head of State.
For a week now, the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been fighting back against the Russian occupiers, who were frightened by the shameful defeat and began committing crimes against humanity, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said.
