In Mykolaiv region, police officers together with representatives of the territorial defense in Bashtanka district detained 28 Russian military personnel. All of them took part in combat operations against the Armed Forces of Ukraine on March 1, 2022 in the town of Bashtanka, Nikolaev region. About this informs the Office of the Prosecutor General.
"Under the procedural management of the Bashtanka district prosecutor's office launched a pre-trial investigation on the fact of encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, which led to the death of people and on the fact of illegal crossing of the state border, combined with the use of weapons (part 3 of article 110, part. 3 of Article 2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine", - according to the report.
It is reported that on March 1 and 2, 2022 police officers together with representatives of the territorial defense in the Bashtansk district detained 28 Russian soldiers. All of them took part in hostilities against the Armed Forces of Ukraine on March 1, 2022 in the town of Bashtanka, Mykolaiv region.
The military were detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine. The reports on suspicion are being prepared for them now.
