The law enforcement committee of the Verkhovna Rada has supported a draft law that proposes to punish treason and sabotage under martial law. About it informs the press-service of the political party "Servant of the people".
"The law enforcement committee of the Verkhovna Rada supported the bill № 7116 "Not a step back!", which proposes to provide in articles 111 and 113 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine punishment for high treason and sabotage in the conditions of martial law", - reported in the press service of the party.
So, the maximum penalty in the form of imprisonment for fifteen years or life imprisonment, with mandatory confiscation of all property.
It is also proposed to ban any amnesty for perpetrators of treason and sabotage.
