On Monday, February 28, French President Emmanuel Macron had another phone conversation with Vladimir Putin. This is reported by French television. The talks between the presidents lasted about 1.5 hours.
During the conversation, Macron asked Putin to stop strikes on civilians and ensure the safety of major roads in Ukraine.
According to the Elysee Palace, on these points, the Kremlin leader "confirmed his readiness to participate."
