Prosecutor General of Ukraine Irina Venediktova reported on what the agency is doing now
"1. We negotiated with the International Council of Experts on Crimes in Armed Conflict.
Why this is important - we carefully record all crimes and have to document everything properly. Our task is to immediately start investigating these crimes and take the cases to court.
2. Held talks with G7 and EU Ambassadors: Matti Maasikas, President of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, Christina Quinn, Chargé d'affaires of the USA, Larissa Galadza, Ambassador of Canada, Pierre Francesco Zazzo, Ambassador of Italy, Anka Feldhusen, Ambassador of Germany, Etienne de Ponsen of France, Ambassador Kuninori Matsuda of Japan.
Why this is important now - we need support in building a dialogue with the International Criminal Court. Already today, we have received assurances from the United States that their experts are ready to get involved. The EU has also confirmed its willingness to provide the best experts.
3. I prepared and sent written applications to 16 national major crypto-exchanges of the world. The point is to do everything possible to block crypto-assets owned by Russian citizens. You agree, it's a strong move. I will push for the result.
Why this is important - let's not allow Russians to use alternative mechanisms of financing aggression.
4.And, of course, a thousand and one meetings with prosecutors, meetings, coordination of law enforcement agencies in our difficult time", - said Irina Venediktova on her page in FB.
Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova told who will be released from prison to defend Ukraine.
"I want to clarify. First - this is not a mass action, but a very deliberate and pinpointed step. The population should not worry that criminals will flood the streets because of it. And prisoners who are serving their sentences should not hope for an "open house" either.
Each of the men discharged had considerable combat experience in the ATO zone in 14-15. All of them are ardent opponents of the "Russian world", and one is the author of the famous song of Ukrainian fans about the main aggressor. For each individually assessed all the risks and mechanisms of control over them", - said the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
Also, the Prosecutor General stressed that Ukraine has enough soldiers - in two days mobilized about 100 thousand citizens, half of whom are reservists of the terrorist defense.
At the same time, she added that it is not only a duty, but also a right to defend the homeland, so "those who stumbled, but want to help protect their native land, deserve this chance.
