In Kiev, participants of the territorial defense have already received more than 25 thousand weapons and ammunition. This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs Denis Monastyrsky.
"I am in Kiev. We work and organize completely the defense against DRG, the issuance of weapons. Issued more than 25 thousand weapons and about 10 million cartridges, RPGs, grenades. Kyiv will definitely defend itself! Defend and fight to the last man," the minister wrote.
He urged Ukrainians to self-organize.
"I want to note the self-organization of our people - not only in Kiev, but all over Ukraine. I am proud and see how people defend their cities, their villages, their streets, their homes. They self-organize so that there are no looting and robbery, because the police are now working, among other things, to counter DRGs. We find them and give them hell. Together with the military we are forming a reliable rear of the defense," Monastyrsky wrote.
He thanked the defenders of our state.
"Thank you to all of our border guards who were the first to meet the fight, our national guardsmen, our police officers, our rescuers. And also to all who took up arms - free citizens of a free country.
Ukraine today is us. And we are Ukraine.
