As a result of Russia's military aggression, 198 Ukrainian civilians were killed. This was reported by Health Minister Viktor Lyashko.

Among the dead are 3 children; 1,115 people were wounded, including 33 children. The minister added that he is searching for body armor for medics. "Because of the actions of Russian terrorists who deliberately fire on ambulances, we have to deal with this as well," he explained.

According to Lyashko, the medical system continues to work, the ministry for its part does its best to ensure that hospitals have everything they need.

"Even if it is not a question of war, but, for example, COVID-19, which also has not disappeared, and patients in intensive care still need oxygen. And no matter how much the occupiers get in our way, we try to get oxygen to the hospitals promptly, we negotiate with the carriers, we provide the logistics so that every patient gets help, because we are united, and that's the way it should be!" - he added.
