Lavrov blamed Zelensky for missed security talks

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky himself missed an opportunity to hold talks on security and on Kiev's neutral status, and now accuses Moscow of unwillingness to negotiate, although this can be called a lie. This criticism was made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during talks with LPR Foreign Minister Vladislav Deinego. This is reported by RT.

"First, when he categorically refused to comply with the Minsk agreements and all the time appealed to his Western patrons to gather "Normandy formats" on and off occasion, not guaranteeing that these meetings will be accompanied by any real results," - said the diplomat.

According to advisor to the head of the Ukrainian presidential office Mykhaylo Podolyak, Kiev is ready to hold negotiations with Moscow on the neutral status, but demands security guarantees for its part.
