Biden and Zelensky had a telephone conversation. The U.S. pledged support and assistance to Ukraine

U.S. President Joseph Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had a telephone conversation on Thursday, February 24. The U.S. condemns Russia's "unprovoked and unjustified" attack and promises to support and assist the Ukrainian people. Biden said this on his Twitter page.

"Zelensky asked me to urge the leaders of the world to speak out clearly against President Putin's blatant aggression and support the people of Ukraine. I will be meeting with G7 leaders tomorrow, and the United States and our allies and partners will impose harsh sanctions against Russia. We will continue to support and assist Ukraine and the Ukrainian people," US President Biden said.

We shall remind you that earlier, martial law was imposed on the entire territory of Ukraine.

Zelenskyy together with foreign leaders creates an anti-Putin coalition.
