The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Dmytro Kuleba, said the beginning of an invasion war against Ukraine, the UNN reports.
"Putin has started a full-scale war against Ukraine. Strikes on peaceful Ukrainian cities continue. This is an invader war. Ukraine will defend itself and win. The world can and must stop Putin. The time to act is right now," the minister wrote.
Explosions have been heard in a number of Ukrainian cities since approximately 5 a.m. According to Anton Gerashchenko, adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs, the explosions in Kiev and Kharkiv were from rocket attacks.
