The National Police is taking more than 100 critical infrastructure facilities under protection during the disconnection of Ukraine from the Belarusian and Russian energy systems. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the National Police of Ukraine Oleksandr Facevich during a briefing on Wednesday.
"We are now paying attention to critical infrastructure facilities, we are checking energy infrastructure facilities including, and more than 100 critical infrastructure facilities will be taken under protection. Some of the facilities have already been taken under protection," Fatsevich said.
According to him, this is due to the fact that Ukraine will be test disconnected from the energy system of Belarus and the Russian Federation.
He also stressed that the National Police will be ready in case of sabotage or other attacks on these facilities.
"More than 600 police officers will provide security for these facilities. It will be temporary, for the period of disconnection", - added the deputy head of the National Police.
