Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he had issued a decree on the conscription of reservists during a special period. In a video message Tuesday night, he said that "we are talking exclusively about citizens assigned to the operational reserve."
"Must increase the readiness of the Ukrainian army for all possible changes in the operational situation," he said.
According to him, in the near future there will also be a training meeting of the reservists of the telodefense system.
Zelensky noted that "at the moment there is no need for general mobilization. We need to promptly man the Ukrainian army and other military formations."
