Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukrainians are a peaceful nation that seeks silence. However, one cannot be silent today because tomorrow it may disappear. This was stated by the president in an address.
The president of Ukraine insists that Russia unilaterally withdrew from the Minsk agreements. Zelensky said that at the moment the Ukrainian authorities are working on several formats. The first: a summit of the leaders of the permanent member states of the UN Security Council - Ukraine, Turkey and Germany. Most of the summit supported the initiative. In particular, we are talking about Erdogan.
Zelensky listed all the sanctions that have been imposed on Russia from the U.S., Britain, Canada and the EU.
As for security and defense, the President noted, there is currently no need for a general mobilization.
"We need to promptly man the Ukrainian army and other military formations. I, as the supreme commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, have issued a decree on the conscription of reservists during a special period. I emphasize: we are talking only about citizens enrolled in the operational reserve. Should increase the readiness of the Ukrainian army for all possible changes in the operational situation. According to the decision of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, in the near future there will also be training camps of reservists of the system of terror defense", - said Zelensky.
Tomorrow Zelensky will have a meeting with the top 50 of our big business. All of them must stay in Ukraine, he stressed.
"Their businesses are on our Ukrainian soil, which is protected by our military. Consequently, and business must protect - our economy, finances, create jobs. Raise and strengthen Ukraine. Together. Each on his own front," Zelensky reported.
