Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has held a visiting meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine in Kharkiv. The meeting was expected to discuss security issues and consider the introduction of new sanctions.
As you know, it was planned to consider the situation with the Russian blockade of the Black and Azov seas; the creation of territorial defense; topical issues of regional policy; public finance.
Also at today's meeting in Kharkiv it was planned to consider the issue of sanctions against the TV channel "Nash", which is owned by former MP Yevgeny Muraev. British intelligence recently accused Muraev of ties with Russia, but no sanctions are yet planned against the MP himself.
At a briefing, Oleksiy Danilov, secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, said that the meeting heard from the head of the State Border Service and the commander of the Ukrainian Navy on the Russian blockade in the Black and Azov Seas.
Also discussed international assistance to Ukraine.
Recall that the last meeting of the NSDC dealt with the threat of a new Russian invasion of Ukraine.
