Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that vaccinated Ukrainians over the age of 60 will receive a free high-quality modern smartphone. In addition, they will receive a preferential tariff. This was announced by the president at the Diia Summit.
According to him, not everyone has a smartphone, and not everyone knows how to use the Internet.
"Two years ago we launched digital literacy courses for seniors, and we're launching an extensive new government program in the spring. All vaccinated Ukrainians over the age of 60 will get a free high-quality modern smartphone and a discounted rate," Zelensky said.
