French President Emmanuel Macron on Sunday, February 6, had a telephone conversation with U.S. President Joe Biden. The main topic of conversation between the two leaders was to discuss the situation on the border between Ukraine and Russia.
This is reported by the press service of the White House.
"The two leaders discussed diplomatic efforts as well as deterrence efforts in response to Russia's continued build-up of forces near Ukraine's borders," the statement said.
The White House reports that Biden and Macron "expressed support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity." In addition, the two presidents expressed readiness to continue consultations with allies and partners.
