British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss said Sunday that Russian claims that there are no plans for a new invasion of Ukraine are false. She warned Moscow against attempts to undermine Ukraine's sovereignty or threaten it. City A.M. writes this.
"Russia's activity in trying to blow up order or somehow threaten Ukraine is clearly visible," Truss noted.
She will travel to Moscow next week to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to seek a diplomatic solution to the current crisis around Ukraine's borders.
"Russia's actions show that its claims of no invasion intentions are false. We and our allies remain unwavering in our support for Ukraine," the British Foreign Secretary added.
