The Health Ministry's order on mandatory vaccination against coronavirus comes into force in Ukraine. Medics, utility workers and local officials were required to be vaccinated by January 31, writes RBC-Ukraine.

Employees of local governments, state and municipal health facilities and various municipal institutions and organizations need at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine.

If there is no vaccination, workers will be suspended from work without pay.

This requirement does not apply to people who have absolute contraindications to being vaccinated against coronavirus disease and a medical report to prove it.

Vaccination is already mandatory for:

- Employees of central executive authorities,

- local public administrations,

- educators,

- employees of strategically important facilities.
