Denis Shmygal met with G7 and EU ambassadors

Prime Minister Denis Shmygal held a meeting with the ambassadors of the G7 and the European Union, the Government Portal reported.

 

"Strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities and increasing economic stability is the best response to the actions of the aggressor country," Denis Shmygal said.

 

The Prime Minister of Ukraine thanked the ambassadors for their efforts to support reforms and democratic institutions. Prime Minister noted that Ukraine will continue cooperation with the IMF within the framework of programs to support the implementation of reforms and send a request to the Fund for a new program.

 

Also Denys Shmygal stressed that Ukraine was ready to immediately begin consultations with the EU to create a new program of macrofinancial assistance.

 

"We clearly understand the importance of constant implementation of the course of reforms in Ukraine. We have consistently fulfilled all our obligations and we will continue this work," the Prime Minister stressed.
