The former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs claims that the combat efficiency of the regular army of the Russian Federation is lower than that of the Ukrainian army, and that during all the years of aggression Ukraine has gained enormous military experience. Russia will suffer enormous losses in the case of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Arsen Avakov, said this on the Gordon talk show.
According to him, the combat efficiency of the Russian regular army at the moment is lower than that of the Ukrainian army.
"In the first hours of the invasion Russia will suffer enormous losses. I see all these schemes, maps of the location of battalion tactical groups... I realize that even if they go simultaneously from five sides - by morning we will count hundreds of dead Russian soldiers and dozens of destroyed armored vehicles. We are not in 2014!", - stressed Arsen Avakov.
The former interior minister recalled that Ukraine has gained tremendous military experience during the entire hybrid war with Russia, and the AFU has modern weapons to deter the occupying forces.
Arsen Avakov also has no doubt that Russian society is not ready for a full-scale war with a neighboring country and heavy losses among the personnel.
"Putin's regime is a Colossus on clay feet. When we talk about deaths and war, it is a great shock. The Russian people do not deserve such a regime and diktat ... It would be a giant mistake for Vladimir Putin to go into Ukraine ...," the former Interior Minister added.
