The National Guardsman who shot people in Dnepr has been detained. As a result of the shooting today killed 5 servicemen.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine, referring to the Facebook page of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky.

According to him, the military will bear the strictest responsibility.

"Artem Ryabchuk has just been detained by police officers in the Dnipropetrovsk region," Monastyrsky said.

On January 27, there was a tragedy on the territory of the Southern Machine-Building Plant ("Yuzhmash"). A 20-year-old soldier of the National Guard of Ukraine, conscript Artemiy Ryabchuk, shot the guard of the NGU soldiers with a Kalashnikov assault rifle for unspecified reasons, and then fled with the weapon.

After that, law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings.

"During the preliminary inspection of the scene established that one of the soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine opened fire with automatic weapons on his comrades on duty. As a result, 5 people were killed, among them one civilian, 5 more were wounded in varying degrees of severity", - reported in the GBR.
