The Kiev Pecherskyy court has selected a preventive measure for former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko. He is suspected of high treason.
The court imposed a preventive measure on Poroshenko in the form of personal commitment and obliged him to surrender his passports for travelling abroad.
Such a decision was made by the court, thus not satisfying the request of the prosecutor's office, which asked to elect for Poroshenko detention with an alternative to bail in the amount of 1 billion hryvnias.
"We are not celebrating the victory. We are not celebrating because Zelensky's crazy scenario as a total inadequate is not over yet. We must act responsibly. It is very important that Zelensky understands: the fate of turning into Yanukovich and spending the rest of his life in Rostov-on-Don is not the Seychelles. Despite the injustice and bullying that my family and our team are going through and will continue to go through, we call for "green" power - the behavior of the aggressor requires a national consensus. Zelensky is an opponent for me. The enemy for me is Putin," Poroshenko said after the court session.
