Under the Pecherskyy district court in Kiev, where today the judge Oleksiy Sokolov should announce a decision on the election of preventive measures for the fifth president of Ukraine, MP Petro Poroshenko, there was a clash between law enforcers and participants in the action in support of Poroshenko, the UNN correspondent reports.
As noted by the media, the dispute began because the supporters of Poroshenko wanted to set up stoves - barrels of fire on which they wanted to put the "boilers", so that people had the opportunity to get warm and drink tea. Law enforcers asked them not to do this and tried to remove the "boilers". The activists tried to prevent it.
So far, there is no information about the detainees.
It should be noted that the judge of the Pecherskyy district court of Kiev, Oleksiy Sokolov, will leave the deliberation room on 19 January at 14:00 for the announcement of the decision on the election of a preventive measure for the fifth president of Ukraine, MP Petro Poroshenko.
The Office of the Prosecutor General asked to apply to the fifth president of Ukraine, MP Petro Poroshenko the measure of restraint in the form of detention with the possibility of bail in the amount of 1 billion UAH.
Poroshenko was reported on suspicion of treason and aiding terrorist organizations in criminal proceedings regarding the criminal scheme of coal supply from the temporarily occupied territories and aiding terrorist organizations "L/DNR". The fifth president of Ukraine was summoned to the GBI on December 23, but he was abroad.
On January 6, Poroshenko announced that he would return to Ukraine on January 17. His lawyer claimed that there was an order to detain Poroshenko to bring him to court.
On January 6, the Kiev Pechersky District Court seized all of the property of the fifth president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko. The SBU expected that Poroshenko would be given a measure of restraint on the day of his return - 17 January.
