It should be noted that the US Secretary of State's visit to Ukraine on January 19 will be a continuation of the close coordination between Ukraine and the US to deter Russia from further aggression, the Foreign Ministry pointed out.
Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and Blinken during the meeting, as reported there, will hold talks on the further implementation of a comprehensive package of deterrence of Russia, practical support for Ukraine by the United States, active diplomatic efforts to resolve the Russian-Ukrainian armed conflict.
The heads of Ukrainian and US diplomacy will also discuss a wide range of issues of strategic partnership between Ukraine and the USA in security, trade, investment and other spheres.
Blinken will also meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky.
