Cabinet of Ministers introduces state regulation of prices of buckwheat, flour, milk and sugar

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has introduced state regulation of prices for a number of products - in particular, for buckwheat, flour, milk and sugar. APnews reports this, citing a government meeting.

Regulation of the prices of products, the list of which was approved, will apply only to quarantine periods. During such periods, the marginal markup on them should not exceed 10%. In general, the adoption of this decision is associated with a significant increase in prices.

We are talking about the following products:

buckwheat groats went up by 23.8% (+8.9 hryvnia);

sugar - 34,9% (+7,3 UAH);

wheat flour - 15,4% (+1,96 UAH);

macaroni products - 18,4% (+3,72 hryvnias);

milk - 9,2% (+2,36 hryvnias);

sunflower oil - 48% (+20.25 hryvnias);

eggs - 11,5% (+3,15 hryvnias);

poultry - 26.9% (+15.06 hryvnia)

butter - 12.3% (+5.46 hryvnia).

Such a rise in prices in the Cabinet of Ministers explains the rise in gas prices. It is also worth noting that the surcharge takes into account advertising, marketing, logistics services, services for preparation, processing, packaging and other services related to the sale to the final consumer.
