In 2022 the minimum pension for Ukrainians over 70 years old will be raised to 3,000 hryvnia. But for this it is necessary that the length of service was not less than 30-35 years.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine, with reference to the meeting of the government.
According to the Prime Minister Denis Shmygal, in 2022, pensions are expected to be increased in several stages. In particular, the indexation will be carried out in March, including for active pensioners. The program of additional payments will be expanded for Ukrainians older than 70 years old, pensions for Chernobyl victims with disabilities will be recalculated and the increase of pensions for 65-year-olds due to the growth of the minimum wage will continue.
"The minimum pension for people aged 70 years old with 30-35 years of service will be 3,000 hryvnia," - said Shmygal.
