Dmytro Kuleba and Anthony Blinken discussed further implementation of a comprehensive package to deter Russia from further aggression, in particular tough economic sanctions against Russia and practical strengthening of the defense capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Secretary of State reiterated the unwavering U.S. support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Dmytro Kuleba expressed gratitude for the US support and noted the unity of the positions of Kyiv and Washington against the background of Russian threats and ultimatums.
The minister stressed that Ukraine continues to work actively to consolidate partners against the threat of further Russian aggression, and the U.S. remains our state's number one security partner.
"Thanks to active diplomatic work, Ukraine has strong international support. There is a growing understanding among our partners that the Euro-Atlantic space will only be secure when Ukraine is secure. Together we are actively implementing this security formula. Negotiations in Geneva proved that our strength lies in unity and coherence of positions against the background of Russian ultimatums," Dmytro Kuleba noted.
