In an interview with Russian blogger Yury Dud, Moldovan President Maia Sandu said that Chisinau aims to minimize the risk of Russian aggression, but in case of an attack, all necessary measures will be taken to protect the country.


Sandu emphasized that Moldova will do everything possible to avoid conflict, in particular by implementing the European integration plan, as the European Union is a project of peace. At the same time, the country is constitutionally obliged to maintain peace and ensure the security of its citizens.


Despite questions about possible resistance in the event of an invasion, Sandu emphasized that Moldova would definitely defend its country.
