For the first time in the history of independent Ukraine, the average salary is 550 dollars - during the year it has grown by more than 19%. This was announced by Prime Minister Denis Shmygal at a regular meeting of the Government.
Denis Shmygal stressed that economic growth and higher incomes of citizens under the conditions of the coronary crisis were particularly important tasks this year, reports the Government portal.
"We are ending 2021 with an all-time record dollar GDP. Nearly $200 billion. This year, foreign investment will be the highest in the last 5 years and will amount, according to estimates
National Bank of Ukraine, about $ 6.5 billion, "- said the Head of Government.
Among the successful initiatives that have been implemented in the economic sphere, Prime Minister noted the introduction of state support for large investment projects.
"More than 25 investors have already applied to UkraineInvest with investment projects worth about $ 2 billion. This is not a bad start, and next year we will already see the effect of these funds on the economy of our country, "- Denis Shmygal said.
Head of the Government also noted that the hryvnia remains stable and the budget has enough funds to finance all expenses.
"The state budget in January-November this year was executed by 104%. It is 47 billion hryvnias more than expected, and these funds were used to support citizens, the economy, the defense sector, "- said Prime Minister.Denis Shmygal added that due to balanced and effective debt and fiscal policy the state budget deficit over 11 months was only 1.4% of GDP.
