His lawyer Ihor Golovan arrived at the State Bureau of Investigation, where the fifth president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, was summoned for questioning, Novoe Vremya reported.
The lawyer said he was going to file a number of motions.
"No one has summoned Poroshenko, but I will be there. I will come to file a petition and demand compliance with the law," - said Golovan.
The lawyer specified that he will apply for the summons as witnesses in this criminal proceeding, as well as to perform a number of investigative actions that "would expose the illegal actions of the authorities."
"The GBI should consider these petitions within three days and issue a ruling," said Golovan.
On December 20, Poroshenko was reported on suspicion of treason and aiding a terrorist organization. It concerns the case of coal supplies from the temporarily occupied territories of Donbas in 2014-2015.
