"The Russian Federation is against bloodshed and armed conflicts"-Putin's statement

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he does not want armed conflicts. He is in favor of solving issues by "political and democratic means.

He said this at an expanded board of the Russian Defense Ministry, reports RBC-Ukraine, citing RBC.

He also said that the country needs "clear, understandable, clearly stated legal guarantees," raising the issue of security guarantees that Russia has sent to the EU and the United States.

"Armed conflicts, bloodshed - this is absolutely not our choice, we do not want such developments," the Russian president said.

Putin said that Russia sees signals from partners who are ready for dialogue. But at the same time, he said, there is a danger that "there will be an attempt to swamp and bury" the Russian proposals, which will not suit Moscow.
