Today, December 16, the Verkhovna Rada is summoned out of turn to consider the repayment of debts and payment of current wages to employees of state coal mining enterprises. This is stated on the website of the VR.
"To convene an extraordinary plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the ninth convocation on December 16, 2021 immediately after the regular plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on December 16, 2021, at which to consider the draft Law of Ukraine on Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2021" (regarding the repayment of debt and payment of current wages to employees of state coal mining enterprises) (reg. № 5891-1)," - the message reads.
The Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine was instructed to ensure the preparation and conduct of this extraordinary plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and to inform the deputies of Ukraine on the issues scheduled for consideration.
In May this year, miners were transferred UAH 237 million to pay off wage debts.
